Alumetal will expand the production capacity of the plant in Gorzyce for PLN 12.5 million net

The supervisory board of Alumetal has approved the investment in the expansion of production capacity in the field of preliminary alloys at the plant in Gorzyce, worth PLN 12.5 million net, Alumetal reported. The project will increase the production capacity of the entire group by 2.5%.

"The project involves the expansion of the production lines of the plant in Gorzyce in the production of the so-called pre-alloys, which will increase the group's production capacity in this area by 30% and, consequently, will translate into an increase in the production capacity of the entire Alumetal Group by 2.5%. among the products of the Alumetal Group is above-average added value. These products are largely targeted at customer segments other than the automotive industry, so increasing their production and sales will be another step in diversifying the sales structure of the Alumetal Group "- says Agnieszka Dryżdżyk.

The Alumetal capital group operates in the foundry and metallurgical industry in the production of secondary aluminum, i.e. the production of aluminum casting alloys and primary alloys from aluminum scrap. The Alumetal Group is a national leader in this field and is the fourth largest producer of secondary aluminum alloys in Europe. The company has been listed on the WSE since July 2014. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 1,061.6 million in 2020.
