Graphene Products to raise 8 million pln via IPO for nanomaterials.

An interesting technology company that operates in the segment of innovative nanomaterials will soon be listed on the New Connect secondary stock exchange.

We are talking about Advanced Graphene Products, i.e. the producer of two well-known forms of graphene. The company was founded in 2012, when its team headed by a well-known scientist and innovator, prof. dr hab. Eng. Piotr Kula developed a breakthrough metallurgical method for the production of large-area graphene HSMG. Three years later, the company from Zielona Góra realized the first sale of graphene, and a year later obtained patent protection for its invention in the European Union and the United States.

Advanced Graphene Products has developed the production of two forms of graphene: flake (GO, rGO) – intended for large-scale applications, e.g. in polymers, resins or carbon composites used, among others in the elements of sports equipment and surface equipment (HSMG method, owned exclusively by the company) intended for applications with high requirements. The company has a reactor for the production of graphene HSMG with a capacity of 150 m2 per year, and a reactor for the production of graphene oxide by exfoliation with a capacity of 100 kg per year.

AGP creates products together with commercial partners and cooperates, inter alia, with companies: Ciech, Frako-Term, GM Color, PolWax, GRM Systems and Pimar Plastics. The company already has the first contracts for the development of commercial applications of graphene, including with Engineo (an R&D company from the bicycle industry related to Kross) or the European Space Agency.

For funds to commercialize patents, AGP goes to New Connect. In the initial public offering, the company sells 817,750 new series C shares. The maximum price was set at PLN 10 per share, which means that AGP plans to obtain approximately PLN 8.2 million gross from the issue. Subscriptions can be made in the small investors tranche until May 24. From 20 to 25 May, book-building will be carried out among investors selected by the investment company. The issue price and the number of shares in each tranche will be published on May 26 at the latest. On the same day, the acceptance of subscriptions and payments in the tranche of large investors will begin, which will last until May 28. The allocation of shares is expected by June 1. Immediately after closing the issue, the company will start applying for admission of the shares to trading on NewConnect. The intention of the management board is for the debut to take place in the third quarter of 2021.
