DHL Supply Chain is building a new logistics center in Żerniki near Poznań with a planned total area of 105,000 sqm. The developer of the logistics center is Panattoni and Zalando will be the first tenant.
The factors that determined the choice of Poznań as a place to implement a new investment in Poland are primarily good location and infrastructure, including a direct connection to the A2 motorway and the possibility of further rapid development.
We are very pleased that we can continue our cooperation with Zalando on the Polish market. Along with this new investment, over 800 new jobs will be created, so that we will be able to provide Zalando customers with the highest quality services. We are also very proud that thanks to this investment we will be able to implement the assumptions of the GO GREEN strategy, under which we want to use the latest technological achievements in order to achieve emission neutrality of our buildings around the world – said Monika Duda, Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain in Poland.
As part of the investment in Żerniki, two huge brands meet, which have decided to take another important step in their development here, at the same time demonstrating the trust of logistics and e-commerce in Panattoni. I am glad that our understanding of the needs of the changing and developing market has been recognized – says Katarzyna Kujawiak,
